Teen ConnectEd is a program of Sacred Spaces of CARE. Social media platforms are utilized to provide a safe space for teens to engage content on the topics of trauma, mental health, suicide prevention, substance use education and prevention, anti-violence, and overall wellness. Teen ConnectEd also partners with other youth-focused organizations and promotes advocacy and education within the local schools and other community venues. Teen ConnectEd serves as a resource for youth and families, assisting with identifying and communicating available extra curricular activities, youth-focused programming and other relevant community resources. Our goal is to educate so that teens are empowered and equipped to advocate.
