Our Mission
Sacred Spaces of CARE empowers people to engage in mental health and take steps towards healing, through advocacy, education and relational support within our community.
Our Core Values
*Honesty – We believe in integrity, fairness, authenticity and transparency.
*Compassion – We believe in people and lead with empathy, kindness and respect.
*Collaboration – We believe in growth, leaning in to learn from each other.

Why Sacred Spaces of CARE?
I am passionate about encouraging meaningful, authentic community and exploring pathways to healing, recovery, and wellness. I believe in focusing on commonalities over differences and embracing diversity to change the narrative and give voice to all. Each of us have a unique story, comprised of both joys and hurts. I believe that every person has value and purpose, and that we have a lot to learn from each other. Our mind is a powerful tool and our journey towards healing and wellness can be strengthened when we choose to embrace community and seek belonging, rather than face difficulties alone.
-Megan Tyler, Founder & Executive Director
Megan is an educator by profession and much of her experience has been within high-trauma settings, where she has been trained in trauma-informed practices. She has been involved in nonprofit work, community-based educational programming and recovery-focused advocacy and support for many years.
